About the S24 Ultra S Pen
- This one has the Bluetooth radio, so the remote camera shutter and the air gestures both work. The pens sold cheaply elsewhere usually do not pair at all.

This is the pen we replace more of than any other, so the fault pattern here is well worn. Start with the pairing before you assume it is broken.

That split is the giveaway. Writing runs off the digitiser, everything remote runs off Bluetooth. Seat the pen in the slot for five minutes to charge, then reset the connection under Settings, Advanced features, S Pen. It is a pairing fault, not a dead pen.
